Among all peoples, the arts express and communicate some of the deepest experiences of life. We believe that creative expression is key to unlocking gospel movements among the world’s remaining unreached. For this reason we have created the Unsung Arts Collective.
Training
5-Month Discipleship
Join our community of arts discipleship for an extended season of renewal and training. We have a vision to affirm and disciple artists for frontier service as artists. This means growing in their unique gifting and calling, while also becoming equipped with skills and frameworks to reach unreached peoples. Our 5-month residential discipleship program is custom designed just for this:
Open to individuals and families of any age or stage
15-20 hrs./wk. spent in studio time and local apprenticeship
Intended for practicing artists (some portfolio required for application)
“Life-on-life” discipleship in close community with other artists and mentors
Students receive all short courses offered, plus other coursework
Includes practicum group trip to do hands-on ethno-arts project
Short Courses
Anyone can meaningfully engage the arts with the right tools—not just “artists.” We offer short-course trainings in the central location of Tbilisi, Georgia several times a year. Stay tuned for the possibility of a “dispersed cohort” track for those who cannot physically come to Georgia for training!
